Lisa Backus is a one-woman-show that also marches to the beat of her own drum. With a strong belief that your home is an extension of self that should embody your unique style, she encourages an open dialogue, radical transparency, and a keep-it-real attitude.

Having previously designed for two of VMSD’s Top Retail Design Firms and Restoration Hardware’s luxury residential design team, Lisa is accustomed to dreaming big and creating spaces that are meant to be truly experienced. Lisa has practiced design for over a decade and holds her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Michigan State University’s accredited program.

Lisa has an everlasting love for strongly veined marbles, imperfect patinas, earthy textures, and touches of strong contrast. You can find her in her workspace sipping a hot vanilla latte, burning her favorite amber-centric candle, and playing The Rolling Stones softly in the background.
